According to an announcement from the Stanford LEAD Online Business Program, Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) Professor Jennifer Aaker will lead a free live webinar on the power of storytelling in leadership.
“The ability to tell a compelling story is one of the most powerful skills a leader can develop at any level of an organization,” the announcement states. In the session, Professor Aaker will share research and frameworks from “Power of Story,” her course in the Stanford LEAD program.
The webinar is aimed at professionals who champion new ideas, need to influence stakeholders or simply want to become more effective communicators. Participants will learn how to craft stories that resonate, build connection and inspire action. As the program puts it: “When a story is compelling, it can turn any leader into the most powerful voice in the room.”
The main session with Professor Aaker will be followed by a panel featuring past participants of the LEAD program.
